Happy Monday Morning

A Monday Morning Moment
This weekend has been really amazing and really stressful at the same time. I have been trying to get over something for a while, but haven’t been able to…simply because I don’t know how to get rid of things and just move on. I’ve been learning to, really I have.

My Monday Morning Moment has been a bit of a breakthrough on being able to let go of this hurt and pain. Not only have I learned how to put things in its place, but I have also found the courage and strength to let this go.

One huge way of letting things go, is forgiveness. Forgive those that have hurt you and those that do things against you. Forgive them and let it be known inside you that you have forgiven them. Don’t seek revenge or seek them out in anger, which will only end up hurting you only and not them. Another way of letting things go is to write out a letter with all the pain, hurt, fury, anger, and frustrations that you wish to tell those people, let it all out. Then delete it or toss it out and let the peace run over you. Another thing to help is to pray. IF you don’t pray or believe in God, that is fine. But if you even just like to pray, do that. Ask for a calmness of spirit and a way to really forgive the people that have hurt you or done you wrong.

These are the things I did. I prayed, ask for a calmness of spirit, and got that. The pain still lingered, and I was angry that they had lied on me and other things. I was actually happy for their success and their direction, just not for the way they did things. I wrote out my letter, prayed to God, asked for forgiveness and to help with forgiving them, and then prayed about again. Last night, Sunday night, I prayed again because I let that hurt dwell on me. I asked a good friend for help and she gave me Colossians 13: 3-4, about forgiving others freely and clothing ourselves with love. It was like an eye opening A-ha moment and I had one!!!

I have love for them, regardless of what happened. If something happened to them, I would help; I know that inside me is a good person who loves all, continuously. I put them in the right place, I let go of the pain and listened to that scripture and it has stuck in my head in all things last night and for all things happening today.

I hope that if someone is doing you wrong, you can freely forgive them, move onward in your life and be successful in just being you, being happy, and knowing that all things will happen the way they are meant to happen.

My Monday Morning Moment!

It’s Monday and we are very sorry for not posting on Wednesday or Friday. We love to blog but most importantly, we love to make sure our readers/followers/and those you comment are enjoying our content as well. We’ve been so busy, it’s been crazy. I love taking time to make sure that everyone’s needs are taken care of, that my assistants are using their time wisely, and that my family life is just as happy as my brides.

I am dedicating this Monday Morning Moment to a bride and groom I just enjoyed working with.  Their love and just simplicity of life for each other, their family, their faith was simply stunning and amazing. I thought to myself, “Is it really that simply?” Why, yes, yes it is.

Not only is it that simply, but being happy, falling in love and really enjoying life makes things simply. I have just learned to embrace things, really watch my kids and simply smile at them. I’ve learned to slow down, even if my mind is racing, my body has slowed, which in the end slows my mind down as well. I didn’t think being in love was for me, I am not the prettiest, the most talented, or the smartest, but I do love being me and learning that has been hard. However, learning this, I have been able to just take things in.

If things don’t come simple for you, that is ok. Things have always been a challenge for me to remember, obtain, or simply just enjoy. However, sometimes, we have to take the moments in life and simply be simple. Enjoy those moments, whatever they may be. Enjoy them with your special someone, enjoy them by yourself, or enjoy them with friends. However, take a moment out of your day and simply enjoy them.
 Thanks,
Erika S.

Monday Morning Magnificent

From here on out on Mondays I am going to start my Monday Morning Magnificent! We should be so grateful that we get to start another week off alive. I know a lot of people hate Mondays, but I really love them. Not every Monday is a great one, but for the most part, they are pretty fantastic and I enjoy them so much.

My Monday Morning happiness has been to just be happy with me and my results of the day. My co-workers laugh at my happy dances, my goofy jokes, my laughter at everything, but it is contagious and I love how everyone seems to embrace it.

I hope that you can see every Monday has a magnificent start to a wonderful work week, even if there are bumps in the road throughout the week, we can always remember we have and continue to have a great support team. Oh Mondays...how I love thee

A Monday Morning Me (A self note of refreshment)

As we push full steam ahead into July this beautiful Monday morning, we look around us and remember the small and big things we are grateful for. For a long while, I blamed everyone around me, and others too. I blamed them for my failures, their successes (weird, I know) and other things, but this is the way I was raised.

However, as an adult, we look back at our childhood, our mistakes, and we really search what went wrong, who did it (me), and why we made those decisions. As a child, I couldn’t control what my mom did or didn’t do, what we learned or didn’t lean, but as an adult I can control how it molds me and what I can do to change that.

I have a HUGE fear of actually being happy and succeeding in my life, my faith, my job, my goals, and with my kids. Lately though, I have been shaking off that fear and moving forward with my dreams and goals and how they can not only make me happy, but show my kids that happiness does come from within.

I want to start focusing on the good. Lately I have noticed some changes in me, which have made me amazingly happy. I’ve also noticed my trials and tribulations and how I wish I would have handled things different on some, I wish I had stayed in those trials and endured my test.
The past isn’t to be dwelt on, but simply to be looked at, learn the lessons missed, and move forward. I’ve always let my past dictate my future and I can’t do that anymore. I love blogging and hope to utilize it more; I will be making some changes for my future and the outcomes of success I want. Growth is all about learning and I am really glad I get to learn about it. Use it and apply it to my life.

Have a fantastic Monday!!

The most important thing

Right now, my life has come and gone in many different situations, some ideal and some not so ideal. I have always believed that the moment you fail at something, you failed. I have started learning in myself that that saying isn't true in the least.

When we fail, we succeed and learn so much more about ourselves, what we can do after we get up, and the joys of learning from our mistakes and the points where we went wrong.

My biggest success are my kids, not to brag, but my babies are awesome! I love watching them play, I love watching them learn, and try new things, and I love their love. How unique God is to give us children who just love unconditionally. I sometimes feel like I have failed in parenting, raising them, or have failed them, but I think they have turned out to be very respectable, loving, and giving kids.

Something I am starting with them is a chore sheet and a goal sheet. I found them at my favorite place in the whole world (Target) and they were only $1.00. They are pretty sweet...I can write in five goals for the week and place stickers in them each as they make and complete each goal, on their own or with my help. There are small You Did It awards and stickers in the booklet as well. I think its a lovely little tool.

I want to be more creative with them, trying new things, going for nature walks, especially since they do love walking and being outdoors. I think that this will help in strengthening our bond. I think it will help me as well.

Another thing I have decided to work on, is my blogging. It is a goal I made for March...to get back into blogging. I don't want to just make money off my blog and I don't want to just do giveaways, but I want passionate followers, ladies who comment on a daily basis, and a media kit....that would be amazing. To start, I am teaming up with a web (blog) designer to create a more engaging and interactive website and blog site. I want don't want to copy other mom blogs out there, especially the ones I love to follow, but I do want that feel of being known and being respected by other mom blogs.

So this will start off my new blogging experience and I can start giveaways, writing for other companies, and being a awesome mommy blogger.

So, to all those worried about your failures, don't be...they help us with our success. I think a failure is a way of making sure we stay humble, making sure we are working on ourselves continuously  and making sure we always know how to get back up. At least that is how I see it.

Hope your Monday is a wonderful start to the rest of your week.
